<p>Position Description: Haul Truck Operator - Portable Aggregate Crushing Plant</p> <p>Job Title: Haul Truck Operator</p> <p>Location: Franklin, KY and Travelling</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time</p> <p>Reports To: Plant Foreman</p> <p>Job Summary: The Haul Truck Operator is responsible for operating haul trucks to transport aggregate materials from the mine face to a portable crushing plant. This role also includes performing vehicle and plant maintenance, lubrication, and clean-up tasks. The ideal candidate must be physically fit and capable of working in a demanding environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Operate Haul Trucks: Safely and efficiently operate haul trucks to transport aggregate materials within the crushing plant. </li><li>Material Handling: Load and unload materials, ensuring proper placement and distribution. </li><li>Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on haul trucks, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and other essential components. </li><li>Plant Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of the crushing plant, including inspecting and repairing equipment as needed. </li><li>Lubrication: Apply lubricants to machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent wear and tear. </li><li>Clean-Up: Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including removing debris and ensuring equipment is free from obstructions. </li><li>Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. </li><li>Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. </li><li>Experience: Previous experience operating haul trucks and working in aggregate crushing plants is preferred. </li><li>Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of vehicle and plant maintenance procedures. </li><li>Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and address maintenance issues promptly. </li><li>Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to communicate with team members and report issues. </li><li>Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Environment: Outdoor work environment with exposure to varying weather conditions. </li><li>Physical Demands: Requires standing, walking, lifting, and operating heavy machinery for extended periods. </li></ul>
