<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC has an immediate need for a Strategic Planner to support the War Plans Branch of the USARCENT G5 Division onsite at Shaw AFB, SC.</p> <p>This planner will be responsible for supporting the development, revision, and maintenance of contingency, operational, and functional plans in support of USCENTCOM and USARCENT throughout the planning process. The planner will provide advice on potential impacts or adjustments based on updates to strategic documents, campaign plans, and the operational environment.</p> <p>Deliverables:</p> <p>Plan Development and Revision:</p> <ul> <li>Active participation in joint planning groups and operational planning teams. </li><li>Assistance in the development and writing of new contingency, operational, and functional plans. </li><li>Review and revision of existing plans to ensure they are current, relevant, and compliant with higher headquarters guidance. </li></ul> <p>Strategic Analysis and Advisement:</p> <ul> <li>Continuous monitoring and analysis of strategic documents. </li><li>Provide timely, well-researched advice to leadership on the impact of environmental changes on plans. </li><li>Preparation and presentation of briefings, analyses, and recommendations to senior leaders. </li></ul> <p>Collaboration and Integration:</p> <ul> <li>Coordination with other USARCENT staff sections, USCENTCOM, and other component commands. </li><li>Ensuring planning efforts are synchronized and integrated across different functional areas. </li></ul> <p>Maintenance of Plans:</p> <ul> <li>Establish and manage a systematic process for the regular review and update of all assigned plans. </li><li>Maintain all plan-related documentation and ensure its proper storage and accessibility. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Typical Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience. </li><li>Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance. </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
