<p>Plant Manager</p> <p>(Cedar Springs, MI) Develop and execute business strategies and direction related to thermoformed packaging products and sheet extrusion.</p> <p>Set and monitor product standards, examining samples of raw products or directing testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.</p> <p>Develop and execute business strategies in the Thermoforming and Extrusion Departments.</p> <p>Oversee modifications in thermoforming tools and plug design to ensure better airflow and material distribution, improving quality and productivity.</p> <p>Monitor Cost Factors (Material Utilization - to Standard and Scrap, Direct and Indirect Labor - to budget, Roll Change timing, Machine Downtime reduction), Quality (RMAs, QITs and PPMs), Schedule (Job performance to MCD and Corporate Performance to Ship Dates), and Safety and SQF (champion improvements to these programs through implementation of BMPs, auditing criteria, and continuous improvement activities).</p> <p>Establish and improve OJT objectives, information, and retention validation for all job functions.</p> <p>Lead efforts related to capital growth expansion to grow operational capabilities.</p> <p>Minimum of a Masters degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Chemistry and two years experience as Plant Manager, Technical Manager or related position supervising operations of thermoforming plants, including overseeing food-grade packaging compliance, troubleshooting equipment, monitoring KPIs, and overseeing AIB and BRC (SQF) audits.</p> <p>Please apply to Display Pack, Inc. at https://displaypack.com/about-us/careers/.</p>
