<p>Under the supervision of the Security Manager works collabortively to ensure Security and Welcome Desk day-to-day operations and staff function in a safe and efficient manner. Performs duties which help to maintain the security of the building, grounds, and all persons therein. Provides patient observations as ordered by a physician. Models Leadership Organizational Standards</p> <p>naEDUCATION:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>High School education required. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or other related field </li></ul> <p>LICENSE:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>Valid NYS driver's license clear of violations consistent with FLH Policy </li></ul> <p>PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>NYS Security Guard Registration, which includes completion of 8-hour pre-assignment training. </li><li>CPI obtained within 90 days of hire. </li><li>Become CPI Instructor within 12 months in the position </li><li>BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation </li><li>16-hour Security Guard course </li></ul> <p>WORK EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>3 year Security Officer experience; Prior Leadership Experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Previous Security Supervisor Experience </li></ul> <p>SKILLS:</p> <p>Minimum:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a good driving history and be able to travel to multiple locations on any given day as requested. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner. </li><li>Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills. </li></ul>
