<p>Job Title: Water Wastewater Civil Engineer EIT</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We currently have a number of exciting projects underway and are looking for a full-time Civil Engineer with strong technical ability, good communication skills, and enthusiasm to join our growing water/wastewater group. This position will require you to work with other engineers, project managers, and technical staff in the production of plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for municipal infrastructure projects, including the design and construction oversight of water and wastewater infrastructure. These projects include, but are not limited to, booster pump stations, water production wells, storage tanks, sewage lift stations, odor control, water/wastewater treatment, and water/sewer lines and force mains. A strong experience in water/wastewater infrastructure is preferred.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design and construction oversight of water/wastewater infrastructure, civil site, and related projects. </li><li>Update designs based on manager and client feedback. </li><li>Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and calculations. </li><li>Conduct water/wastewater modeling and design. </li><li>Perform hydraulic calculations, hydraulic modeling, and pump selection. </li><li>Coordinate with client/owner, subconsultants, and utility companies during the design process. </li><li>Conduct site/field inspections of project locations. </li><li>Perform technical research and investigation. </li><li>Ensure the accuracy of completed tasks through the use of established processes. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Engineering with 3-7 years of experience. </li><li>Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona, or ability to become registered within one year. </li><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D design package and Microsoft Office applications. </li><li>Ability to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and written. </li><li>Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, and on-site inspections. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Strong Excel skills are a plus. </li><li>AutoCAD Civil 3D design package proficiency. </li><li>Experience in civil design, land development, site development, and drafting. </li><li>Employee-owned company with stock options. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment is an open and collaborative space, fostering a private and professional atmosphere.
