<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Supporting the instructor during the CIT 100 course in the Fall 2025 semester.</p> <p>Course Description</p> <p>CIT 100 - Technology Foundations</p> <p>Introduction to resources and skills necessary for success in academic studies and ultimately careers. Defining and solving technical problems, using software for analysis and communication, analytical and computational problem-solving techniques, basic laboratory skills including simple troubleshooting techniques and safety practice. Course projects integrate teamwork, global and societal concerns, and professional ethics.</p> <p>Responsibilities*</p> <p>Supporting instructor in various classroom and tasks, providing assistance to students, and contributing to a positive learning environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities may include troubleshooting labs, monitoring student behavior, and providing individualized support to students.</p> <p>Required Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>Must be a current UM-Flint Undergraduate Student </li><li>Experience with Arduinos or other microcontrollers. </li><li>Must be available during class time. For position 1 (MW 2:30-4:10pm). For position 2 (TR 12:30-2:10pm). </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>Having completed CIT 100 with a grade B or above. </li></ul> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Onsite</p> <p>The work requires, or the supervisor approves a fully onsite presence. Onsite is defined as a designated U-M owned or leased work location within or outside of the State of Michigan</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
