Today, we are helping companies take on some of the world's most critical and complex issues, including retirement funding and healthcare ?nancing, risk management and regulatory compliance, data analytics and business transformation.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other business intelligence (BI) solutions and data visualization solutions across multiple platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or others). </li><li>Perform data analysis, data validation, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to support strategic insights. </li><li>Incorporate AI-assisted analytics (e.g., predictive modeling, natural language querying, automated insights) into reporting workflows where applicable. </li><li>Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements and deliver comprehensive BI solutions that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all Milliman required Quality Risk Management requirements. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Visualization or related fields. </li><li>2+ years of related work experience. </li><li>Proven experience with Power BI and other BI technologies. Pro?ciency in DAX, SQL, and Power Query is preferred, but not required. </li><li>Familiarity with modern analytics tools or frameworks (e.g., Python, R, Azure ML, Microsoft Fabric AI features) is a plus. </li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze signi?cant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. </li></ul> <p>Competencies and Behaviors that Support Success in this Role</p> <ul> <li>Adept at queries, data storytelling, and presenting ?ndings in compelling and visually engaging formats Knowledge of healthcare analytics platforms, and processing environments including Graphical User Interfaces, batch processing, and APIs. </li><li>Experience with SAS, SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages a plus. </li><li>Proven expertise using Microsoft office applications </li><li>Experience using Power Query and writing DAX. </li><li>Familiarity with dimensional data modeling and data warehouse concepts. </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, lake house architecture, ETL processes, and capacity management. </li><li>Curiosity about emerging analytics capabilities, including AI-driven insights, automated reporting, and augmented BI. </li></ul> <p>The Team</p> <p>Milliman is one of the leading experts in healthcare financing and delivery.
