<p>About the role</p> <p>As a Sr. Automation QA - Squish with Python, you will make an impact by ensuring the delivery of high-quality web applications through robust automated and manual testing practices. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering and Assurance team, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to drive excellence in software quality.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for smoke, functional, integration, and regression testing using Squish with Python. </li><li>Develop test scenarios from specifications, user stories, and project documentation, ensuring comprehensive coverage. </li><li>Create and manage test data, analyze results, and perform root cause analysis for defects. </li><li>Lead defect triage calls with internal and client teams, ensuring timely resolution and validation of fixes. </li><li>Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery. </li></ul> <p>Work model</p> <p>We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Regardless of your working arrangement, we support a healthy work-life balance through our wellbeing programs.</p> <p>What you need to have to be considered</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). </li><li>Proven experience in QA automation using Squish with Python, including frameworks and libraries (e.g., Pandas, CSV). </li><li>Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). </li><li>Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, and defect management using tools like Jira and ALM. </li><li>Expertise in file verification (text-to-text, XML) and payment systems (FEDWIRE, CHIPS, SWIFT). </li></ul> <p>These will help you stand out</p> <ul> <li>Experience with domestic fund transfers and interbank settlements through MTS payment systems. </li><li>Ability to create Jira dashboards and queries for tracking testing progress and defect metrics. </li><li>Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex web application issues. </li><li>Familiarity with continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines. </li><li>Excellent communication skills to articulate testing progress and collaborate with stakeholders. </li><li>Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship </li></ul> <p>We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
