Marzetti, and we reserve the right to contact those candidates without any obligation to pay a fee.</p> <p>The National Accounts Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales initiatives to profitably grow Marzetti's volume and revenue with the top 100 foodservice national chain accounts in the US. This role involves managing and nurturing relationships with existing and target customers, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Account Management: Develops and maintains strong relationships with key foodservice national chain customers, including existing customers and new prospects, to drive long-term business growth and customer satisfaction </li><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with marketing, product development, culinary, supply chain, pricing and finance teams to ensure cohesive strategies and optimal implementation of customer solutions. </li><li>Market Analysis: Monitors industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement. </li><li>Contract Negotiation: Leads negotiations for major contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies. </li><li>Performance Tracking: Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of sales tactics based on objective data and market intelligence and makes adjustments based on performance against the KPIs </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. </li><li>Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the foodservice industry, with at least 3 years managing national accounts relationships. </li><li>Skills: </li><li>Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. </li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform strategy. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). </li><li>Travel: Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% of the time. </li><li>Preferred Qualifications: </li><li>Experience working with major foodservice distributors and understanding of their operational models. </li><li>Familiarity with product development processes and culinary trends. </li><li>Proven ability to cultivate and leverage industry relationships to accelerate business growth and build strategic, long-term partnerships. </li></ul> <p>#TMZ23</p>
