<p>The Opportunity</p> <p>As a Structured Investments Specialist, you will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders-including bank issuers, third-party distributors, the internal trading desk, and financial advisors on a comprehensive range of offerings.</p> <p>The Team</p> <p>The Alternative and Structured Investment team's mission is to empower advisor practices, agencies, and MassMutual to excel in the HNW space by offering open architecture solutions and expertise. We are dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals to grow and transition their wealth through informed investing.</p> <p>The Impact</p> <p>The Structured Investment Desk is a high-growth area for MassMutual. With the addition of this new role, we're accelerating momentum and expanding our capabilities in this space. This investment not only supports continued growth but also strengthens our ability to scale and provide broader coverage across the field.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist financial advisors in the implementation of structured notes and market-linked CDs as part of broader client portfolios.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide product education and insights to advisors, focusing on live business cases and real-time market conditions.</p> </li><li> <p>Generate innovative trade ideas and investment strategies based on the current market environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Enhance and create educational resources, ensuring advisors are equipped with up-to-date knowledge on structured notes and market-linked CDs.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with trading and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient client onboarding experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Leverage technology to drive process efficiencies and improve team workflows.</p> </li><li> <p>Apply your understanding of portfolio management to recognize how structured investments fit into broader financial plans, supporting client goals.</p> </li></ul> <p>The Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree</p> </li><li> <p>Series 7 at time of application</p> </li><li> <p>7+ years of experience with investment solutions in the insurance/financial services industry and/or within financial institutions (banks, credit unions, wires, broker dealers).</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years' experience of sales or sales support experience with structured products.</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years' working experience at broker-dealer or wirehouse.</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).</p> </li></ul> <p>The Ideal Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with more complex investments and solutions designed for HNW clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven client service skills with stakeholders and clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated with excellent organization and keen attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic mindset with the capability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>What to Expect as Part of MassMutual and the Team</p> <ul> <li> <p>Regular meetings with the Product and Investments team.</p> </li><li> <p>Focused on one-on-one meetings with your manager.</p> </li><li> <p>Networking opportunities including access to Asian, Hispanic/Latinx, African American, women, LGBTQ, veteran, and disability-focused Business Resource Groups.</p> </li><li> <p>Access to learning content on Degreed and other informational platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Your ethics and integrity will be valued by a company with a strong and stable ethical business with industry leading pay and benefits.</p> </li></ul> <p>#LI-CR41</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$172,000.00-$225,700.00</p> <p>At MassMutual, we focus on ensuring fair equitable pay, by providing competitive salaries, along with incentive and bonus opportunities for all employees.
