You must always possess good judgment & discretion.</p> <p>Aggregate Sales Representatives Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Sell and market aggregate materials and services while providing exceptional customer service </li><li>Manage and expand existing customer accounts to ensure retention and identify growth opportunities </li><li>Actively prospect for new customers, material haulers, and brokers to increase market share </li><li>Monitor inventory levels in coordination with Superintendents, Foremen, and internal systems to meet customer demand </li><li>Gather and analyze competitive market data to inform sales strategies and maintain market awareness </li><li>Investigate and help resolve customer issues and complaints by coordinating with management and internal teams </li><li>Work closely with the dispatch team to schedule and coordinate material deliveries via truck and rail </li><li>Track and report on sales activity, including targeted jobs, win/loss outcomes, and customer engagement metrics </li><li>Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to assist in collecting open, current, and past-due invoices </li><li>Forecast customer needs based on current and future market conditions and construction trends </li><li>Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of aggregate products and their applications </li><li>Promote products to both existing customers and prospective clients through targeted outreach and relationship building </li><li>Conduct sales calls and site visits to build relationships and generate new business </li><li>Accurately communicate product pricing, lead times, and availability to customers </li></ul> <p>Aggregate Sales Representative Core Skills and Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and general computer systems </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction and reporting </li><li>Capable of managing risk in customer accounts and project execution </li><li>Detail-oriented, dependable, and flexible with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction </li></ul> <p>Area Sales Representative Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in sales or management is preferred. </li><li>Must be willing to drive over 50% of your day if required. </li><li>Professional self-motivated and comfortable working with little daily direction. </li><li>Strong communication and people skills. </li></ul> <p>EOE/M/F/Disabled/Veteran/DFSP</p>
