<p>A client of Sharp Decisions is looking for a Software Developer. This role is HYBRID in Torrance, CA (4 days onsite. 1 day remote) with an initial contract of 12 months.</p> <p>Looking for someone with auto finance experience. Any FIS/Systematics experience is a plus.</p> <p>Daily Tasks Performed</p> <ol> <li> <p>Application Development and Production Support for multiple large projects</p> </li><li> <p>Research and resolve production issues, troubleshooting of mainframe on-line and batch abends</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate the daily and monthly batch process to improve performance and shorten the critical path window</p> </li><li> <p>Perform Impact Analysis across multiple platforms and applications</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver complete documentation for estimates, design and development</p> </li><li> <p>IBM mainframe COBOL, CICS, MQ, DB2, JCL</p> </li><li> <p>Support nightly batch production support</p> </li></ol> <p>What will this person be working on:</p> <p>Production Support</p> <p>Position Success Criteria (Desired) - 'WANTS'</p> <ul> <li>Experience in Automotive Finance industry </li><li>Business knowledge of financial services, understanding of financial services automotive lending, Customer Service, Payment Processing, Taxes, End of Term and Extension processes, Collections, Delinquency Tracking, Repossession, Charge Off, Recovery, Bankruptcy, and Accounting. </li><li>Familiarity with test practices and deliverables for unit test </li></ul>
