Learn more about us at worcester.edu/about .</p> <p>Job Description: TITLE: Student Engagement Coordinator DEPARTMENT: Office of Student Involvement and Leadership Development (OSILD)</p> <p>SUPERVISOR: Kristie McNamara</p> <p>SSTA Approver: Christine Pulsifer SCHEDULE: April - June (12-15 hours per week) POSITION LEVEL: Non-Supervisory</p> <p>General Statement of Duties:</p> <p>Assist the Office of Student Involvement with various tasks related to the Orientation program including peer to peer support, outreach, and retention efforts.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Communication via phone and email with new incoming first-year students to register them for First-Year Orientation. Assist professional staff at the First-Year Orientation table at Congratulations Day. Develop and initiate a comprehensive social media campaign starting in April and running throughout the month of June that includes interactive posts with Orientation Leaders. Assist with New Lancer Connect, a video series that helps ease the transition into the first semester and includes information on commuter and residential life, engagement opportunities, and success tips and tricks. Assist with social media contests and prizes for First-Year Orientation. Prepare social media posts for July and August. Assist with developing a new game show at First-Year Orientation that features involvement opportunities and recreation and wellness.</p> <p>Requirements: Qualifications:</p> <p>Must be enrolled as a full time student.
