<p>Application Pool Notice</p> <p>Laredo College continuously accepts applications for part-time (adjunct) instructors to create a pool of candidates for each session/semester. Applications will be reviewed and positions will be filled based on department needs. Applications received for this pool will remain active for one year.</p> <p>Position Requirements</p> <p>Upon employment, candidate must reside in the state of Texas.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>The Leadership Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction and ensuring effective teaching and learning in leadership development. This role involves developing and adapting course curricula to align with industry standards, preparing comprehensive lesson plans and course materials, and maintaining accurate records, including attendance and grading. The instructor must create an engaging learning environment, fostering student participation and motivation through interactive teaching methods and real-world applications.</p> <p>Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop course/program curriculum to address the particular area of instruction. </li><li>Prepare lesson plans, course syllabi, and Course Verification Forms. </li><li>Keep accurate attendance records. </li><li>Submit required paperwork on time. </li><li>Participate in in-service training activities offered by the department. </li><li>Work a flexible schedule as determined by instructional activities. </li><li>Coordinate instructional activities with other faculty/staff in order to plan and promote the most effective instructional programs possible. </li><li>Performs other related duties assigned by the Director, Dean, Associate Provost/Strategic & Collaborative Partnerships, Provost/Vice-President of Academic Affairs, or President. </li></ul> <p>NOTICE: Required Documents</p> <p>To be considered for this position, you are required to upload your high school diploma or unofficial transcript or GED certificate.
