If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact and value a people-centered culture, we invite you to join us!</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Claims Education Specialist will be an office-based position that will work closely with the Director of Claims Training (DOT) with all aspects of Claims Department training and development functions, including but not limited to in-person and virtual presentations, development of curriculum, coordination of travel and meetings, and involvement with the claims audit function.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college (CPCU, AIC, or similar designations preferred), or comparable business background.</p> <p>Experience teaching or training others.</p> <p>A minimum of two years of experience in property and casualty claims is preferred.</p> <p>Required Skills and Abilities</p> <p>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</p> <p>Strong organization skills.</p> <p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and instructional design software.</p> <p>Passion for education of self and others.</p> <p>Aptitude and desire to teach in a classroom or virtual setting.</p> <p>Self-motivated and innovative nature.</p> <p>Location and Commitments</p> <p>Full-time role based at our Corporate Office in Raleigh, NC 27612.</p> <p>Hybrid schedule available after 6 months of employment according to company policy.</p> <p>Maintain a North Carolina Adjuster License in good standing.</p> <p>Willingness to travel, including overnight, as needed.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Role</p> <p>Create relevant and timely curriculum for in-person, virtual, and Learning Management System (LMS) instruction.</p> <p>Organize and facilitate courses for both the home office and the District Claims Offices, as well as provide virtual education when required.</p> <p>Organize and Maintain Claims Training Division documents and materials.</p> <p>Support the monitoring of adjuster hiring, promotions, and designations for historical documentation and training objectives.</p> <p>Ensure that the intracompany portal and resources are regularly updated.</p> <p>This document is intended to outline the essential responsibilities of the position, and does not limit the tasks that may be assigned or amended by the supervisor.</p>
