<p>This position is responsible for teaching construction classes face-to-face. Must evaluate and report student performance and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures. Duties include, but are not limited to, teaching classroom lecture courses, curriculum development/restructuring, and helping in student success.</p> <p>This position is responsible for teaching classes as assigned by the academic dean. Must be willing to teach a variety of methodologies: face-to-face, hybrid, video conferencing, live virtual, and online.</p> <ul> <li>6000 hours of recent construction work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in construction and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested construction experience. </li><li>Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. Driver's License and good driving record. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs </li><li> The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear  </li><li>Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle. </li></ul> <p>Cognitive Requirements: (as presently performed to accomplish essential functions)</p> <ul> <li>Reading, Writing, Calculating </li><li>Social Interaction Skills </li><li>Reasoning/Analysis </li><li>Works with Minimal Supervision     </li></ul>
