<p>The Human Resources Generalist performs Human Resources related duties at the professional level. He or she will carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: Benefits and wellness, team member relations, and training. Provides support to the Human Resources team to ensure compliance in legal and regulatory requirements as well as fulfilling organizational Human Resources objectives.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all Aegis team members </li><li>Assists in the development and implementation of Aegis policies and procedures </li><li>Administers enrollments, changes, and terminations for Aegis benefits plans, as well as leaves of absence in accordance with all company policies and state/federal regulations </li><li>Performs monthly plan audits as well as coordinate and/or participate in quarterly and annual auditing as required </li><li>Conducts benefit specific orientation to team members </li><li>Completes billing review and coordinate payments with Accounts Payable team </li><li>Supports the open enrollment process through the HR System </li><li>Documents and maintains required records and ensures confidentiality </li><li>Recognize potential team member relation issues and partner with Leadership to advise </li><li>Provides guidance to team members and managers/supervisors of disciplinary or corrective action </li><li>Leads and participates in various HR projects, including but not limited to Wellness activities </li><li>Requires an in-depth knowledge of company policies and procedures and state and federal law to be applied to a wide variety of situations </li><li>Meets consistent deadlines with many interruptions </li><li>Monitors, evaluates, and revises effective internal processes and communication tools </li><li>Ensures the consistent application of federally mandated employment programs (i.e. FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.) </li><li>Assists in the evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends to HR leadership new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed </li></ul> <p>A Successful Candidate Must Possess:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline </li><li>A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in Human Resources </li><li>Active PHR or SPHR professional designation preferred </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate effectively with all levels </li><li>Must be organized and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously </li><li>Must have a strong working knowledge of state and federal laws related to Human Resources functions, plus knowledge of policies, procedures and laws concerning recruitment, placement, separation, Team Member relations, and investigative procedures </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint </li><li>Proficient experience with utilizing a HRIS system </li></ul> <p>Aegis Sciences Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
