Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Actuarial Intern to join our Life Finance team!</p> <p>This position is a 15-20-hour work week. We are flexible on days and willing to work with a student's schedule. Work from home may be available once trained to work independently.</p> <p>Our internship program is designed for individuals who are enrolled in an accredited college/university before the start of the summer internship. Candidates should be seeking a degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the team with enhancing tools used for valuation, asset-liability management, and financial reporting. </li><li>Assist with experience studies and outputs of actuarial modelling. </li><li>Create and maintain various reports within the department </li><li>May be called upon to handle other duties as required to support Life Finance team. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Currently enrolled in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Actuarial Science program</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient Microsoft Excel and VBA skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills</p> </li><li> <p>Actuarial exam experience not required but preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>All candidates must submit a resume.
