Vishay, Dover, New Hampshire, is currently seeking a fulltime Maintenance Technician responsible for all maintenance requirements associated with a 35,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and grounds. We are looking for a technician with experience and skills in equipment and facility maintenance.</p> <p>Job Location:</p> <p>We're located southwest of downtown Dover which is the largest city in the New Hampshire Seacoast region, the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire, and the seventh oldest in the U.S.A. We're less than seven miles from the main campus of UNH, and another fun fact is that Dover even was the birthplace of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.</p> <p>What you will be doing:</p> <ul> <li>Supporting a 35,000 square foot facility as it relates to the building, grounds, front office, and production floor. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, custodial and maintenance tasks associated with compressed air, electrical, emergency preparedness and safety, HVAC, plumbing, and production equipment, as well as overseeing outside contractors. </li><li>Maintaining adequate level of inventory and organization of spare parts for all site equipment. </li><li>Serving as a member of the EHS team and administering site EHS systems including overseeing, collecting, storing and shipping plant waste streams. </li><li>Serving as a member of the Safety Team. </li><li>Assisting engineering and production teams with executing floor layout changes, introducing new equipment, and completing large and small continuous improvement actions. </li></ul> <p>What you will bring along:</p> <ul> <li>Associate/Technical Degree in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Technology preferred or equivalent experience. </li><li>5+ years related facility maintenance experience </li><li>Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations and ability to interface with governmental agencies.
