<p>Job Type: Regular</p> <p>Time Type: Part time</p> <p>Work Shift: Day (United States of America)</p> <p>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt</p> <p>When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives.</p> <p>PHLEBOTOMIST/MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Duties/Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Computer operation as relevant to patient analysis, result reporting, patient demographics. </li><li>Procurement of patient specimens for analysis. </li><li>Inventory record keeping as directed. </li><li>Bench maintenance as described in Blood-borne Pathogen Standard Manual. </li><li>Dispensation of patient results. </li><li>Train new employees. </li><li>Mobile phlebotomy, nursing home, and on-call as directed. </li><li>Process specimens that are being sent to reference laboratories. </li><li>Patient registration, receptionist duties, specimen collection and processing at various laboratories on & offsite drawing stations. </li></ul> <p>It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required.</p> <p>Education/Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma </li><li>Graduate from an approved phlebotomy course or one year phlebotomy experience. </li></ul> <p>Physical/Environmental Requirements</p> <p>This job requires frequent bending, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping, walking and lifting over 10 lbs. There will be occasional need for climbing stairs, lifting in excess of 50 - 100 lbs and sitting. Constant use of hearing, sight and speech. Frequent use of smell and touch. Frequent keyboard and telephone use.
