<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Job ID 83867-147 Date posted 02/18/2026</p> <p>ASC Silver Spring is seeking a Full Time Surgical Technologist</p> <p>At Summit - ASC Silver Spring, we know that nurses are the backbone of the ASC. For us, that means building a cohesive team that is cross trained to provide exceptional patient care in all areas of the ASC including pre-op, PACU, the OR and procedure rooms.</p> <p>Our team primarily works at their home ASC, but on occasion, is asked travel to other ASCs within the area. Mileage reimbursement is provided.</p> <p>Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech</p> <p>The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>Certification as required by state and/or center </li><li>Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred </li><li>Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient </li><li>Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation </li><li>Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed </li><li>Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians </li></ul> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
