<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Title: Senior Manager, Sales Development</p> <p>Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)</p> <p>Reporting to: Director, Sales Development</p> <p>Department: Sales</p> <p>Introduction</p> <p>We are looking for our next leader to join our Sales Development org at Quickbase, based in our Boston, Massachusetts office. You will manage a team responsible for generating outbound and inbound lead activity and qualifying opportunities for the sales organization.</p> <p>In addition to team building and lead qualification, you will be the front-line eyes and ears for the organization as we scale and grow into new markets. You are a strong coach, player & manager, extremely well</p> <p>organized and continuously focused on improving the</p> <p>performance of your team and optimizing the SDR function with</p> <p>your fellow managers and leaders. You have a love of top-of-</p> <p>funnel sales, and drive to find winning pipeline, and a desire to</p> <p>develop new talent. This is a great opportunity to help scale the</p> <p>SDR function at a high growth software company. You will be a</p> <p>proven sales performer and have a solid understanding of the</p> <p>qualifying and discovery process.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop a high performance SDR team through day-to-day </li></ul> <p>coaching and continuous professional development through:</p> <p>o Focusing on Meeting/Discovery/Pipeline creation by</p> <p>outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification</p> <p>o Managing SDRs to maintain a consistent call, email, metric,</p> <p>and quota attainment</p> <p>o Coaching each Rep on your team in sales skills, qualifying</p> <p>ability, and to see growth in their careers towards future</p> <p>sales roles or other company department</p> <ul> <li>Developing call plans and prospecting strategy for SDR </li></ul> <p>team in coordination with sales managers</p> <ul> <li>Working with SDRs and Account Executives to develop </li></ul> <p>account based selling strategy for target companies</p> <ul> <li>Leading by example in all aspects of the SDR job role, by </li></ul> <p>have the ability and willingness to get in the trenches with</p> <p>reps through cold calling, prospecting, and selling</p> <ul> <li>Leading Force Management and Command of the Message </li></ul> <p>methodology reinforcement and execution</p> <ul> <li>Understanding the Quickbase product message and learn </li></ul> <p>the top industry and buyer personas messaging and tactics</p> <p>relevant to current GTM Strategy</p> <ul> <li>Motivate SDRs to exceed goals through coaching and </li></ul> <p>incentives</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining or growing a strong organizational background, </li></ul> <p>reporting mindset, project execution skills and/or the ability</p> <p>to learn quickly in these areas</p> <ul> <li>Having proficiency in all sales tools, sales processes, and </li></ul> <p>CRM etiquette of the Sales Development Department and</p> <p>GTM Org</p> <ul> <li>Owning the sourcing, hiring, onboarding, and development </li></ul> <p>of talent + reps for your team</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining performance management processes for SDR </li></ul> <p>team</p> <ul> <li>Work cross functionally with Sales and Marketing Managers </li></ul> <p>to ensure a positive customer experience and market</p> <p>approach</p> <p>Desired Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree optional </li><li>2+ years of SaaS selling (closing) experience with </li></ul> <p>demonstrated success exceeding quota and revenue</p> <p>targets</p> <ul> <li>Aptitude and passion for learning technical </li></ul> <p>concepts/terms</p> <ul> <li>Understanding of inbound and outbound sales </li></ul> <p>methodologies and processes</p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated; entrepreneurial spirit </li><li>Experience with CRM and Marketing Automation </li><li>Ability to sell both Net New and Expansion opportunities </li></ul>
