<p>Job Summary</p> <p>Infra-Metals is seeking an experienced CNC Burning Machine Operator to join our team!</p> <p>We are a leading steel service center, providing value-added processing and distributing a full line of metal products to industries nationwide.</p> <p>We're looking for a skilled operator with hands-on experience running Plate Burning Machines (Plasma or Oxy-Fuel) in a steel service center or fabrication environment. Experience with overhead cranes is a plus. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and motivated to deliver high-quality results.</p> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <p>Walk(Move, Traverse), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move), Pushing or Pulling, Reaching, Repetitive Motion, Stand or Sit(Stationary position)</p> <p>Function in the Job</p> <p>Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.</p> <p>Job Function</p> <ul> <li>Set up, operate, and monitor CNC plate burning machines to meet required specifications. </li><li>Ensure all cuts meet size and tolerance requirements per processing work orders. </li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written work instructions. </li><li>Accurately use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers). </li><li>Safely use manual hand tools such as wrenches and clamps. </li><li>Operate overhead cranes and assist with warehouse tasks as needed. </li><li>Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and procedures. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to complete production goals. </li><li>Perform additional warehouse duties or special projects as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience operating Plate Burning Machines (Plasma or Oxy-Fuel) required. </li><li>Experience in a steel service center or fabrication environment preferred. </li><li>Basic computer skills required. </li><li>Strong understanding of safety practices in an industrial environment. </li><li>Ability to work within precise limits and standards of accuracy. </li><li>Must be dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality. </li><li>Able to work any assigned shift, overtime, and weekends as needed. </li><li>Physically able to stand, lift, climb, and perform warehouse tasks. </li><li>Strong team player with a positive, motivated attitude. </li></ul> <p>EEO/Disability/Veterans Statement</p> <p>Infra-Metals Co. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
