Under direction of the Store Director: ensure all departments are fully staffed, trained, andoperatingefficiently;maintainstore profitability bymonitoringall financial aspects of purchasing, stocking, selling, payroll and other general expenses and income;maintainsphysical location properly including equipment, sanitization, safety, and general appearance; communicating and executing the corporate plans. Complete all other duties as assignedin a timely manner.</p> <p>Here's what you'll do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Regular inspections of all areas, providing feedback to department managers.</p> </li><li> <p>Review reports,take actionand communicate information as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Engage in financial planning including budgeting, staffing/payroll, facility maintenance and upgrading.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate and work with Spartan personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Train others to perform all department activities and functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage theselection, scheduling, and supervision of others.</p> </li><li> <p>Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service orassistance.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean,attractiveand customer-friendly department.</p> </li><li> <p>Have familiarity with all products carried in the department; know differences in price, taste, preparation, use etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Additionalresponsibilities may be assigned as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Three years of experience in a retail grocery environment with increasing levels of responsibility.</p> </li><li> <p>One year of experience in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a retail environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient Computer (email, spreadsheets,etc)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read, write,comprehend, and interpretdocuments</p> </li><li> <p>Accounting/Bookkeeping skills</p> </li><li> <p>Interpret/Analyze Financials</p> </li><li> <p>Develop/ Manage Budgets</p> </li><li> <p>Delegate/Direct/Implement</p> </li><li> <p>Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products</p> </li><li> <p>Detail Oriented</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
