You are required to maintain primary residency in one of the above states, to maintain employment with Ottawa University.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Responsible for high quality face-to-face and/or online instruction for adult learning in an Adjunct faculty role in assigned theory (didactic) course, at assigned clinical sites or campus skills or simulation lab. Primary responsibility is to teach, monitor, and evaluate students in didactic course and clinical settings at various clinical sites (medical facilities and community agencies). The faculty member is committed to academic excellence in all areas of teaching and learning including theory, laboratory, and clinical instruction. Must demonstrate success through instruction, collaboration with various stakeholders, and active engagement within the discipline. Responsible for contributing to Ottawa's educational programming and academic integrity.</p> <p>Ottawa University is accepting applications for potential openings for Adjunct Instructor positions. The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing If a need arises, the department will select candidates from this general adjunct posting. We do periodically post adjunct instructor positions for specific areas and needs you will need to apply as you see those become available.</p> <p>If you are interested in teaching in a university setting, it can be helpful to gain experience as an adjunct instructor. Many of our adjunct instructors hold a full-time career elsewhere, and choose to teach in our evening, weekend, and online programs so that they may have the opportunity to teach students.</p> <p>Ottawa University employs adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate/graduate level coursework for its adult campuses.
