We are proud to contribute to numerous local charities and community organizations throughout southeast Michigan.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <ul> <li>Salary: Competitive compensation commensurate with experience </li><li>Job Type: Full-Time </li><li>Location: Kalamazoo, MI </li><li>Work Hours: In-person, with flexible schedules that may include evenings and weekends </li></ul> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will engage customers by understanding their needs and demonstrating the features and benefits of our vehicles. Your role includes developing prospects, guiding buyers through the purchasing process, and closing sales to meet company goals. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact to vehicle delivery.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Greet customers and identify their vehicle preferences and needs </li><li>Explain vehicle features and demonstrate operation both in the showroom and on test drives </li><li>Recommend optional equipment to enhance customer purchases </li><li>Research vehicle availability and coordinate with management as needed </li><li>Work with Sales Manager to prepare accurate sales quotes, including pricing, financing, and trade-in options </li><li>Complete all related sales paperwork and credit applications accurately and promptly </li><li>Deliver new vehicles and ensure customers understand operation, warranty, and paperwork </li><li>Maintain an active prospect development system to generate ongoing sales opportunities </li><li>Stay informed about new products, features, and accessories through training and sales meetings </li><li>Adhere strictly to company policies and customer service standards </li><li>Consistently meet or exceed sales forecasts and targets </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to frequently stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods </li><li>Occasional climbing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed </li><li>Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasional exposure to exhaust fumes or airborne particles </li><li>Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds occasionally </li><li>Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision </li><li>High school diploma or GED required </li><li>Valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) </li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and governmental regulations </li><li>Ability to write clear business correspondence and reports </li><li>Effective presentation skills to address groups including managers, clients, and customers </li><li>Problem-solving skills to manage complex sales situations with limited standardization </li><li>Ability to follow varied instructions provided in written, oral, or schedule form </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE OFFER:</p> <ul> <li>Tremendous product & inventory </li><li>Ongoing company-wide training </li><li>Strong company reputation </li><li>Growth opportunities </li><li>Professional, enthusiastic & supportive working environment </li></ul> <p>When you join our organization, you'll enjoy comprehensive training, competitive compensation, and unparalleled benefits.
