<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Office of Athletics & Recreation Services is seeking a federal aid recipient for student employment. This position will be funded by federal work study dollars; only students that receive financial aid awards can be considered for this position. If you do not see a Work Study award amount, then you are not eligible to apply. If you have any questions regarding your award, please contact the Financial Aid office at extension 3156 or email finaid@fitchburgstate.edu</p> <p>Please see below the specific duties and responsibilities for the position.</p> <p>Specific Duties Include:</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service to all patrons of the Recreation Center </li><li>Consistently enforce all policies of the Recreation Center </li><li>Perform opening and closing procedures as necessary </li><li>Check and Scan OneCard of eligible users & operate computer software efficiently </li><li>Process electronic transactions through BlackBoard </li><li>Perform equipment checkout / inventory procedures </li><li>Assist patrons with membership application process </li><li>Assist with consistent cleaning and disinfecting of fitness equipment </li><li>Provide support during medical emergencies (CPR/AED) as needed </li><li>Respond to staff internal communication in a timely and professional manner </li><li>Attend scheduled meeting and training sessions </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Effective communication both written and oral </li><li>Customer service oriented </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>This is a part-time non-benefited student only position.
