We value individuals who ask questions, challenge the status quo, and want to grow while making a real difference.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As a Patient Billing & Support Specialist at XiFin, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers regarding billing and insurance-related inquiries. Your role is essential in ensuring billing accuracy, resolving claim issues, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position will be located at our office in North Haven, CT with a set weekly schedule Monday -Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.</p> <p>How you will make an impact:</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Handle inbound calls daily pertaining to a complex molecular diagnostic test, delivering clear, accurate, and compassionate support to patients and healthcare providers </li><li>Return voicemails promptly and professionally, ensuring timely resolution of patient inquiries and provider requests </li><li>Manage all patient communication channels, including voicemail, email, and written correspondence, updating patient demographic, insurance, and payment records with precision </li><li>Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security in all interactions and data management processes </li><li>Develop proficiency in medical billing system facilitating accurate processing of billing information </li><li>Coordinate collections activities with third-party vendors, monitoring account statuses, resolving disputes, and supporting timely recovery of outstanding balances </li><li>Process and adjust bankruptcy accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational protocols </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional departments on various administrative and operational projects, contributing to process improvements and team goals </li></ul> <p>What you will bring to the team:</p> <p>We're looking for someone with a growth mindset and a passion for learning.
