We take pride in fostering a safe environment for all employees.</p> <p>We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd shift Smithe Envelope Operator for our growing Bindery Department.</p> <p>Summary: The Envelope Operator is responsible for the setup, adjustment, and safe operation of the envelope machine (i.e. - F.L. Smithe Champion Envelope Convertor) to produce quality finished products that meet customer and company specifications and quality standards.</p> <p>Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five or more days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM, Monday - Friday, or similar. This is an on-site position requiring the employee to be present physically.</p> <p>Salary Range: $19.00 To 22.00 Hourly</p> <p>Compensation commensurate with experience.</p> <p>At this time, we are not engaging with agencies or third-party recruiters. Thank you for your understanding.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Access the batching system to view batch lists and identify priority jobs to be completed </li><li>Review job tickets and plan work processes to meet customer specifications for custom jobs </li><li>Ensure machines are ready and set specifications to run products as required </li><li>Quality control of completed jobs, providing updates on job status and schedule to the supervisor </li><li>Make adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and timely flow of materials </li><li>Monitor assigned machine during run to ensure machines are maintaining the proper requirements </li><li>Unload machine and stack materials on pallets </li><li>Ensure jobs are meeting quality and quantity requirements </li><li>Troubleshoot machine problems, resolve if possible, notifying Floor Supervisor </li><li>Maintain proper machine maintenance and lubrication </li><li>Remove waste items for recycling </li><li>Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. </li><li>Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and is free of safety hazards </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>For an extensive list of responsibilities, duties and physical demands/work environment please refer to the attached Job Description.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Six-months to one-year related experience utilizing an envelope machine (i.e. - F.L. Smithe Champion Envelope Convertor) </li><li>Six-months to one year experience troubleshooting and utilizing mechanical inclination to determine machinery needs </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalency </li></ul> <p>4over Company History:</p> <p>4over was founded in February of 2001.
