No waiting periods.</p> </li><li> <p>Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Life Insurance, Short and Long-term Disability</p> </li><li> <p>Retirement savings plan with employer match and contributions</p> </li><li> <p>Colleague Referral Program to earn cash and prizes</p> </li><li> <p>Unlimited career growth opportunities with one of the largest Catholic healthcare organizations in the country</p> </li><li> <p>Tuition Reimbursement</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Performs patient assessments and procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.</p> <p>What the Registered Respiratory Therapist Will Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform therapist-driven protocols, patient assessments, administration of medications, and evaluate patient response to therapies.</p> </li><li> <p>Documents performance and results of therapies (therapeutic and diagnostic) according to policy and procedures (inclusive of NICU transport).</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately maintains the Order Entry and Charging system related to services rendered.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with data collection and projects for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and the Respiratory Care Department process improvement plan.</p> </li><li> <p>Supervises and assists in the training of new employees and students.</p> </li><li> <p>Cleans, assembles, maintains and troubleshoots all Respiratory Care Department equipment while utilizing supplies and resources in a cost-effective manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - Participates as a member of the CPR team.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have completed Level I and II therapist competency requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure by the State of Michigan.</p> </li><li> <p>Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).</p> </li><li> <p>At least six (6) months of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience</p> </li><li> <p>BCLS certification.</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
