This position will assist in several capacities including practice, scouting, player development, campus recruitment, community service, and overseeing the basketball developmental team.</p> <p>Job Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assists student-athletes during practices and competitions with technical aspects of game preparation and strategy for player development. </li><li>Possess the ability to coach players in both groups and individually based on positions </li><li>Scout assigned opponents as assigned by the coaching staff </li><li>Assists the basketball staff with recruiting efforts </li><li>Assists coaching staff with video evaluation </li><li>Compliance with all NCAA, conference, and institutional rules </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of NCAA and conference by-laws </li><li>Understanding of the Mission of Concordia University Wisconsin </li><li>Ability to interact in a professional manner with people and present a positive image of Concordia University </li><li>Ability to work nights and weekends with extensive travel. </li><li>Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS). </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree and collegiate playing experience or coaching experience is preferred.</p> <p>Physical Demands/Equipment (Click to View)</p> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <p>This is a part-time, seasonal position paid by way of bi-monthly stipend throughout the duration of the sport/program season. Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, education, and experience.
