<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Accounting & Financial Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the division's accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in all balance sheet reconciliations, and driving month-end closing activities. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with IFRS accounting standards. </li><li>POC (Percentage of Completion) Accounting: Ensure that revenue and costs are recognized accurately in accordance with IFRS guidelines for percentage-of-completion accounting. </li><li>Manage Accounting (balance sheet), accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) teams. </li><li>Oversee all audit and internal control activities to ensure compliance and mitigate financial risks. </li></ul> <p>Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)</p> <ul> <li>Lead the division's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with corporate goals. </li><li>Analyze financial performance trends, identifying risks and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making. </li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and variance analysis to track progress against key financial targets. </li></ul> <p>Operations Business Partnering</p> <ul> <li>Partner with operations leadership to drive cost reduction initiatives and improve efficiency throughout the division. </li><li>Support capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects by providing financial analysis, ROI modeling, and performance tracking. </li><li>Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and other operational teams to identify cost savings opportunities and enhance profitability. </li></ul> <p>Commercial Costing & Cash Flow Management</p> <ul> <li>Support costing models and analysis to ensure accurate product costing and margin assessment. </li><li>Review new orders cashflows models to ensure projects are cash positive throughout. </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS (knowledge, skills, and abilities)</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership. </li><li>Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis, with strong attention to detail. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and efficiency. </li><li>Knowledge of ERP systems (Made2Manage / SAP), financial reporting tools, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. </li><li>In-depth knowledge of IFRS and financial best practices. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. </li><li>CPA, CMA, or MBA is required </li><li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. </li><li>Prior experience in a manufacturing or products-based industry is highly desirable. </li><li>Experience working in an international environment and managing teams. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. </li><li>CPA, CMA, or MBA is required </li><li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. </li><li>Prior experience in a manufacturing or products-based industry is highly desirable. </li><li>Experience working in an international environment and managing teams. </li></ul>
