We have opportunities at our various Divisions located throughout the Southeast.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>To assist the Construction Manager in the completion of homes to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.</p> <p>What You'll Do:.</p> <ul> <li>Oversee community in Construction Manager's absence </li><li>Perform routine production activities (minor repair and replacement installations) </li><li>Meet with and sign off on deliveries of materials when needed </li><li>Water lawns (seasonal) </li><li>Attend Quality Assurance walk and manage any follow up activities </li><li>Assist with Homeowner Orientation Sign off </li><li>Keep all drive barricades in place, unlock and lock homes daily </li><li>Monitor community to review and enforce safety regulations </li><li>Install water meter location cards </li><li>Oversee building and painting of permit boards </li><li>Post building permit cards </li><li>Adjust/clean out water meter boxes so municipality will set meters </li><li>Ensure job site cleanliness </li><li>Attend and perform inspections </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <p>We're looking for students currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management with an interest in residential construction.</p> <p>We are an equal employment opportunity employer and a certified Drug Free Workplace.</p> <p>About Smith Douglas Homes:</p> <p>New home builder, Smith Douglas was recently recognized by Builder Magazine as the 32nd largest builder in the Builder Top 100 Rankings.
