<p>Industrial Millwright/Mechanic - Afternoon shift 3:00pm to 11:00pm</p> <p>Amsted Rail-Griffin Wheel, the leading manufacturer of railroad wheels in North America, is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Industrial Millwright/Mechanic for our Groveport foundry.</p> <p>The Millwright/Mechanic position installs, maintains, repairs, dismantles, and reassembles machinery in industrial and construction settings. Their work must be precise so as not to introduce strain into complex mechanical systems.</p> <p>Skills needed include:</p> <ul> <li>Welding </li><li>Machinery alignment, installation, repair </li><li>Precise fitting of bearings, gears and shafts, motors, couplings </li><li>Vibration analysis </li><li>Blueprint reading, electrical and mechanical design </li><li>Conveyors, carousels, ASRS systems, monorails, bulk conveyors </li><li>Pumps, valves, and seals </li><li>Material handling, SDS and the ability to follow safety procedures and work safely. </li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of verifiable industrial maintenance experience.</p> <p>Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and successfully complete screening and skills tests prior to interviewing.</p> <p>The Millwright positions will start at $38.87 up to $39.87 depending on skills.</p> <p>We also offer a comprehensive benefit package.
