<p>SUBSIDIARY: Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI)</p> <p>PROGRAM: Youth Safety & Responsibility Program (YSRP)</p> <p>ROLE TYPE: Fee-for-Service (Contract)</p> <p>JOB OVERVIEW:</p> <p>Joseph J. Peters Institute, a nationally recognized provider serving perpetrators and survivors of sexual abuse, seeks a fee-for-service Evaluator for its Youth Safety and Responsibility Program (YSRP). YSRP serves adolescents with sexual behavior problems. The Evaluator will perform Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluations (CBEs) with intervention need assessment measures. This individual will also participate in biweekly consultation groups. The Evaluator will be responsible for providing the highest quality clinical services to YSRP participants. Experience treating adolescents with delinquency issues is preferred.</p> <p>Reports to: Director of Youth PSB Programs and Evidence-Based Practices</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provide the highest quality clinical services to participants at JJPI. </li><li>Develop and implement innovative techniques to serve JJPI participants more effectively. </li><li>Perform Comprehensive Biopsychosocial Evaluations (CBE). </li><li>Ensure the clinical quality of evaluation reports and ensure timely completion of reports (30 days for a final draft and 2 weeks for initial drafts). </li><li>Analyze and integrate data gathered during evaluations to provide diagnostic conclusions and treatment recommendations. </li><li>Provide comprehensive written reports to guide treatment and to respond to referral sources. </li><li>Attend clinical meetings and scheduled supervision. </li><li>Maintain clinical records in accordance with agency, managed care, and licensing requirements. </li><li>Seek out appropriate professional training to meet licensing requirements. </li><li>Develop and maintain professional relationships with other agencies. </li><li>Understand the impact of caseload requirements on the financial performance of the agency. </li><li>Promote the agency in interactions with other agencies and professionals. </li><li>Complete initial evaluation-specific Wellness Plans. </li><li>Complete and provide statistical reports (case management and clinical hours) at the end of each week/pay period. </li><li>Provide CBEs and CBRs to participants in YSRP. </li><li>Provide MSE and Clinical Formulation for CBEs. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Works effectively with other staff and contributes to the development of a team approach to treatment </li><li>Provides input into new programs and works to implement more effective methods of delivering services </li><li>Understands and communicates with other programs within the agency and works to foster a collaborative team approach across all programs </li><li>Assists in developing and maintaining referral network </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION: Master's degree in a field related to clinical behavioral health work required</p> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of relevant clinical behavioral health experience with adolescents required (can include internship/practicum experience </li><li>Preferred: Experience working with youth with sexual behavior problems </li><li>Preferred: Experience working with youth involved in the criminal justice system </li></ul> <p>COMPENSATION: Compensation is flat rate for evaluations.</p> <p>PHMC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.</p>
