<p>EVV CLIMATE COLLABORATIVE - ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <p>Manage projects and programs that facilitate the Evansville Climate Action Plan strategies and goals.</p> <p>Coordinate internal efforts to communicate across departments and track progress toward goals.</p> <p>Research successful models and best practices for climate action strategies and solutions.</p> <p>Research local, state, and federal fund sources for projects and assist with applications.</p> <p>Assist Director with grant award communications, logistics, tracking and reporting.</p> <p>Plan, communicate and conduct meetings, workshops, and events for educational or strategic action.</p> <p>Creatively boost awareness about the City of Evansville and ECC grants and projects.</p> <p>Develop content and manage communications for web, social, newsletters, and other methods.</p> <p>Engage with the community to increase awareness, engagement and adoption of climate solutions.</p> <p>Engage with and manage relationships with stakeholders and partners.</p> <p>Assist in managing interns and volunteers.</p> <p>Assist in maintaining records and files.</p> <p>Other duties as assigned by the Director.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental or other relevant science, and two years field experience or degree equivalent is preferred.</p> <p>Program and project management experience preferred.</p> <p>Understanding of ecological, biological, and chemical factors as they apply to air quality and climate.</p> <p>Creativity and enthusiasm for public and partner engagement.</p> <p>Experience in developing educational or marketing content and using online media platforms.</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.</p> <p>Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.</p> <p>Good observational, analytical and evaluative skills.</p> <p>Exceptional organization and attention to detail.</p> <p>Self-sufficient and resourceful work ethic.</p>
