<p>Job Description and Duties</p> <p>Under supervision of a Staff Service Manager I (SSMI), the incumbent assists the Compliance Manager and journey-level Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) in the contract administration of construction "public works" contracts, database management, research, regulation and legislative analysis, complaint investigations and the enforcement of various contract provisions and State and Federal laws and regulations that are administered as part of the Department's contract administration.</p> <p>PARF# 06-5-515 / JC-478116</p> <p>Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Staff Services Analyst exam. Shields Avenue, Fresno, Fresno County.</p> <p>The work is primarily conducted in an office environment; however occasional field trips to construction field offices, construction project sites, and/or contractor's business offices throughout the state may be required. Some overnight travel may be required. While in the office, employees will work in a climate controlled office under artificial lighting, building temperatures may fluctuate. Employees will also travel.</p> <p>This position may be eligible for telework. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and based on Caltrans's evolving telework policy. Caltrans supports telework, recognizing that in-person attendance may be required based on operational needs. Employees are expected to be able to report to their worksites with minimum notification if an urgent need arises. The selected candidate will be required to commute to the headquartered location as needed to meet operational needs. Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee's designated headquartered location, primary residence, and may be subject to CalHR regulations or applicable bargaining unit contract provisions.
