<p>Position Summary:#Responsible for driving cross-functional efficiencies throughout the Perioperative Services supply chain and to identify and implement process improvement initiatives that support the organization goals of Perioperative Services and Materials Management. Responsible for evaluating, developing and implementing best practice systems, tools and processes that provide PVHMC with the ability to manage and improve inventory and service levels. This is to be accomplished through constant communications with key stakeholders, development of the team, goal and objective setting with staff and key stakeholders, standardization of departmental processes and comprehensive progress reporting. Responsible for creating sound strategies to ensure that required supplies are in stock, on order and available from the distributor and direct suppliers. Reponsible for ensuring proper stocking levels, space allocation and product location management while maintaining high standards of customer service. May perform other duties as assigned. Job Specifications: [Required]#Bachelor#s degree or equivalent work experience. Five years of experience in surgical inventory management. Two years of supervisory management. Proven experience working effectively with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and purchasing coalitions or supply networks; experience leading Clinical Quality Value Analysis Teams (CQVA) to evaluate opportunities, improve patient outcomes and drive savings; measurement of departmental productivity with industry accepted benchmarks; knowledgeable of price benchmarking and analytic tools; proficient in data analysis; proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with staff at various levels and possess strong written communication skills, must be perceptive, innovative and self-starter when organizing projects. [Preferred Qualifications]#RN. Master#s degree. Certified Materials Resource Professional (CRMP). Knowledgeable of Materials Management Information Systems, Lawson version 9.01 or 10. # Salary range: $110,000 to $138,000 annually.
