<p>Job Description:</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Building Principal</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>The Paraprofessional shall have a high school diploma, plus 60 college credit hours, or receive a</p> <p>passing score on the paraprofessional assessment. As well as the skills and ability to work with</p> <p>students in a group or in a one-on-one situation, and any other requirements as may be deemed</p> <p>necessary for this position by the Board of Education.</p> <p>JOB GOAL:</p> <p>To assist students in the classroom supporting students' academic and personal growth within a</p> <p>school environment. They aim to enhance student learning, reinforce classroom instruction, and</p> <p>contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment. Specific goals may include assisting</p> <p>with classroom management, providing individualized or small group support, reinforcing</p> <p>lessons, and monitoring student progress.</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty</p> <p>satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and</p> <p>abilities required.
