<p>We are seeking a driven and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Anderson, SC, supporting Vertiv's rapidly expanding Switchgear operations. This is a critical leadership role within our manufacturing facility, focused on driving operational excellence, team performance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>Reporting to the Production Manager, and working closely with cross-functional teams, the Production Supervisor will oversee multiple production assembly teams across three rotating shifts.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and manage daily operations across multiple production lines to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. </li><li>Supervise and develop a team of 60+ employees, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. </li><li>Collaborate with Scheduling, Engineering, Logistics, and other departments to ensure production goals and customer deadlines are met. </li><li>Monitor and improve operational KPIs, including output, efficiency, scrap rates, and downtime. </li><li>Conduct performance reviews, return-to-work interviews, and disciplinary meetings as needed. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety standards and promote a safe working environment. </li><li>Utilize ERP/MRP systems for production planning, tracking, and reporting. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment. </li><li>Recognized mechanical or electrical qualification. </li><li>Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams in a high-volume setting. </li><li>Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production control tools. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Background in setting up or scaling high-volume production lines. </li><li>Demonstrated success in driving performance through KPIs and lean manufacturing principles. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>A hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for operational excellence. </li><li>The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with high expectations and growth potential. </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principals & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.</p> <p>OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Diversity & Inclusion.</p> <p>OUR STRATEGIC PRIORITIES</p> <p>Customer Focus</p> <p>Operational Excellence</p> <p>High-Performance Culture</p> <p>Innovation</p> <p>Financial Strength</p> <p>OUR BEHAVIORS</p> <p>Own It</p> <p>Act With Urgency</p> <p>Foster a Customer-First Mindset</p> <p>Think Big and Execute</p> <p>Lead by Example</p> <p>Drive Continuous Improvement</p> <p>Learn and Seek Out Development</p> <p>Vertiv is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
