Those who join our team are committed to providing superior care and service, so our patients and their families can celebrate life.</p> <p>If you would like to learn more, please visit our website at https://www.ohioshospice.org/</p> <p>How You Support Our Mission:</p> <p>The non-emergency medical transport specialist provides high quality non-emergent care and transportation to Ohio's Hospice patients.</p> <p>Benefits & Perks:</p> <ul> <li>401k with 5% Company Match </li><li>Educational programs geared toward career advancement </li><li>Uniform allotment at initial onboarding </li><li>Mileage reimbursement </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Safely operate and maintain a medical transportation vehicle while in compliance with all laws </li><li>Prepares logs and reports as required </li><li>Assists in other activities and departments when requested to ensure complete and thorough patient care for all Ohio's Hospice patients. </li><li>Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities to support the quality of Ohio's Hospice services. </li><li>Precepts new staff to support professional relationships with newly hired team members as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) training or Area Agency on Aging DRIVE training (completed during orientation) </li><li>Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care </li><li>Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather. </li><li>Open work availability during regular operations between 9:00am- 9:00pm </li><li>Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record </li><li>State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage </li><li>Must be able to pass a criminal background check </li><li>Must be able to 10 panel drug screen </li></ul> <p>This is a driving position.
