<p>Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician</p> <p>Focus Area: Leadership</p> <p>Direct Supervisor(s): Manager of Facilities Maintenance</p> <p>Compensation: $18-$20/hour <em>starting range</em> (based on experience) Plus HQ Benefits & Bonus</p> <p>Growth: Management / Specialization</p> <p>Location: HQ: Nashville-based, non-remote with project based travel</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>As the Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will help shape the way we care for, maintain, and improve our facilities in order to deliver an epic interactive experience to every single guest. This position will be primarily responsible for supporting local stores with facility maintenance (Currently 40-45 locations with growth to 55+ within the next 18 months).</p> <p>Hours & Schedule:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Expected Weekly Hours: 40 - 45</p> </li><li> <p>Travel Expectations: Moderate (Between 25%-40%)</p> </li><li> <p>Expected Schedule:</p> </li><li> <p>Office: Monday - Friday</p> </li><li> <p>Emergency Travel: As needed, may include nights & weekends with extended hours</p> </li><li> <p>Oncall: Yes, 100%.</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>Facility Maintenance</p> <ul> <li> <p>Utilize our ticketing system to report, track, and resolve issues in our stores related to safety, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, aesthetics, cabinetry, and carpentry.</p> </li><li> <p>Receive calls from our stores and guide them to a successful resolution via remote support.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively and consistently collaborate with other internal departments to effectively repair and improve guest and team experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with vendors, and store team members to troubleshoot malfunction in systems - Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Be the point of contact for all facility related support - emergencies, tickets, vendors, etc</p> </li><li> <p>Track and monitor active facility tickets. Understand the priority of projects and ensure excellent communication and diligent follow-through on all requests</p> </li><li> <p>Identify systemic issues and take initiative to solve them.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel and perform on-site repairs, and improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel and coordinate with local vendors / landlords as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively and consistently collaborate with other HQ Departments to strategize facilities and game improvements based on guest and store feedback.</p> </li></ul> <p>Uphold Safety Standards</p> <ul> <li> <p>Advise on safe practices for tool usage.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure electrical repairs are completed safely.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and call out any unsafe items in our stores.</p> </li><li> <p>Guide stores through weather emergency closures as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Aid in incident reporting.</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong understanding of various trade-work in order to interpret reported or identified issues.</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years experience coordinating and negotiating various vendor repairs - Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years experience reviewing architectural plans (Permit Sets) including HVAC, Fire Sprinkler, Electrical, and Plumbing</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years experience on support calls</p> </li><li> <p>A love for escape rooms and interactive media</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Contagiously positive, can-do attitude</p> </li><li> <p>Loves to "win"</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication skills - written, on the phone, in-person</p> </li><li> <p>Must be highly capable of problem solving and troubleshooting various systems including mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, in a hands on setting, and or able to walk store team members through repairs remotely.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience leading others in an informal structure</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient at spreadsheets & document creation</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds individually</p> </li><li> <p>Able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and navigate tight spaces for extended periods of time</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years experience using handtools / power tools</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Understanding of production and fabrication processes including CNC, Carpentry, Scenic, Paint, and Controls Technology</p> </li></ul>
