<p>Job Title: Senior Preconstruction Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>The Senior Preconstruction Manager serves as a vital representative of both Estimating and Operations Departments, acting as the Point of Contact for specific preconstruction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of both estimating and operations, enabling the individual to present project estimates, detailed construction site logistics plans, and project schedules effectively. The Senior Preconstruction Manager leads the preconstruction team from initial job setup through completion of GMP, ensuring projects are set up for successful transition to the construction phase.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Act as the Point of Contact for specific preconstruction projects. </li><li>Represent Estimating and Operations Departments effectively. </li><li>Understand and present project estimates and construction site logistics plans. </li><li>Manage and lead the Preconstruction team from job setup to GMP completion. </li><li>Ensure successful conversion of Preconstruction projects into Construction projects. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Project management </li><li>Construction management </li><li>Preconstruction expertise </li><li>Business development </li><li>Four-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience </li><li>At least 5-7 years of relevant experience as a Preconstruction Manager </li><li>Broad understanding of construction administration and estimating processes </li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills </li><li>Estimation skills </li><li>Commercial construction experience </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience working 5-10 years in the Nashville market </li><li>Strong understanding of the preconstruction process </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is primarily office-based, offering a professional setting equipped with necessary technologies and equipment to support project management tasks.
