<p>Brief Job Description:</p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated and probabilistic-thinking Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Summer Intern to join our Global Finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience in corporate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, support critical financial processes, and contribute to data-driven decision-making that drives business success. This is a great opportunity to build foundational finance skills, work with real-world data, and gain exposure to senior finance leaders in a fast-paced, global organization.</p> <p>Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each: -</p> <ul> <li>Develop a detailed understanding of the Vertiv core businesses, processes, risks, and internal control activities. </li><li>Execute test procedures in accordance with applicable audit standards and the department's standard audit methodology. </li><li>Deliver quality results within established deadlines. </li><li>Clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing results of audit projects. </li><li>Provide actionable recommendations to remediate issues disclosed during audits and projects. </li><li>Build trust and effective relationships throughout the organization. </li><li>Comply with internal policies, procedures, and practices. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: -</p> <ul> <li>Sophomore or Junior Student in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business Management, or similar field. </li></ul> <p>Additional / Preferred Qualifications: -</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in English, both writing and speaking. </li><li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. </li><li>Attention to details and process-thinking. </li><li>Organized, independent and self-motivated. </li><li>Willing and able to learn. </li><li>Committed to continuous professional development. </li></ul> <p>OUR CORE PRINCIPALS: Safety.
