Supports full life cycle recruiting for various high volume and specialized positions across the District as well as strategies to strengthen and expand initiatives to recruit, hire, retain and advance team members, with a specific focus to support increased recruiting efforts to build a diverse workforce. Click here for more information on compensation for these roles. </li><li>In addition to competitive compensation, DPS has other Total Reward offerings such as; time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Develops, organizes, and implements campus, community, and diversity recruitment activities for local, state, national, and international recruitment initiatives; coordinates and attends recruitment events (job fairs, open houses, conferences, and district-sponsored events). </li><li>Identifies, recruits, sources, cold call passive candidates and cultivates talented candidates across schools and/or a variety of positions. </li><li>Determines salaries by assessing experience and education following established guidelines per DPS and/or bargaining unit. </li><li>Supports with pre-boarding activities such as; new hire paperwork and offers letters. </li><li>Validates qualifications, credentials, and licenses required of school-based hires; verifies that candidates meet minimum requirements; and confirms that all new hire documentation is completed and received. </li><li>Collaborates with Human Resources Partners to monitor and meet client group recruitment objectives. </li><li>Compiles and creates data reports and other forms of recruitment and retention statistics; assists in the creation of a variety of state-of-the-art recruitment communications (e.g., banners, advertisements, brochures, web content). </li><li>Develops and nurtures relationships with customers, school principals, community constituents, and partners in institutions of higher education; attends partnership meetings with institutions of higher education, business, community, and school partners, and serves on school, community, and business committees; councils and/or advisory groups. </li><li>Participate in evening or weekend recruitment events </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual in Spanish-English, required </li><li>Three or more years of related recruiting and onboarding experience preferred </li><li>Three or more years of related educational experience preferred </li><li>Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED </li><li>PHR or SPHR Certification preferred </li><li>Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. </li><li>Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. </li><li>Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position. </li></ul> <p>Denver Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender expression, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or any other status protected by law or regulations.
