<p>| POSITION Director of Professional Learning</p> <p>| GENERAL DESCRIPTION</p> <p>The Director of Professional Learning leads the district's vision for professional growth, ensuring alignment with instructional goals. This role oversees all professional development operations, including compliance, licensure, staff development, and mentoring programs such as the Resident Educator Program.</p> <p>In collaboration with the Innovative Teaching & Learning Department, the Director provides instructional coaching and supports curriculum and best practice delivery. They work with principals and supervisors to plan and evaluate impactful professional learning. The Director also represents Butler Tech as a regional thought leader in education.</p> <p>Additionally, the Director coordinates and leads key district programs and initiatives, including events such as Butler Tech's Annual Meeting, EMPOWER Awards, and the Student EMPOWER Competition.</p> <p>| QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Administrative licensure through the Ohio State Board of Education; </li><li>Educational leadership experience, including experience with professional development; </li><li>Master's degree in Education, Curriculum or related field; </li><li>Computer expertise appropriate to the position; </li><li>Strong organizational skills; </li><li>Effective and demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking, analytical, and oral and written communication skills; </li><li>Valid drivers' license; reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance; </li><li>History of strong work record, including excellent attendance; and </li><li>Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Board Policy. </li></ul> <p>| STARTING DATE July 2025</p> <p>| SALARY Administration, Grade 3 ($107,260 - 139,071)</p> <p>| LOCATION Central Office</p> <p>| BENEFITS Includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; tuition reimbursement</p> <p>| WORK YEAR 230 days - 8 hours/day</p> <p>| DEADLINE Internal: May 21, 2025; External: Until Filled</p> <p>| APPLY TO Butler Tech Careers</p>
