<p>Occupational Health Nurse (LPN, RN, or BSN)</p> <p>2nd shift</p> <p>Pella, IA</p> <p>Provides nursing assessment, intervention and evaluation for occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries. Manages on-going care of team members. Conducts required screen/testing. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain nursing certifications and license.</p> </li><li> <p>Manages direct care of work related and non-work related injured or ill team members.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides case management of Workers' Compensation claims. Provide support for Workers' Compensation hearings as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts hearing tests and manages follow-up care.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct drug and alcohol testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Administers vaccination programs to include Tetanus and Hepatitis.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitates physician job site visits and Functional Capacity Examinations.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for timely and accurate charting of all care provided, into team member health record/file.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide resource assistance to HR representatives in assessing reasonable accommodations.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct job assessments within manufacturing and office environments. Provide risk analysis and offer risk reduction solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for OSHA compliance and recordkeeping within scope of responsibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains Health and Safety Information systems. Input health information and treatment plans into appropriate HSI Systems in a timely and accurate manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Current Nursing license (LPN, RN, or BSN) in the state of Iowa. Minimum of 3 years of Nursing experience.</p> <p>LANGUAGE SKILLS</p> <p>Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to team members, managers, and public groups.</p> <p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</p> <p>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as medication dosage.</p> <p>REASONING ABILITY</p> <p>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.</p> <p>COMPUTER SKILLS</p> <p>Outlook, Word, Excel, People Soft, Fusion, Thrive.</p> <p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</p> <p>Current Nurse licensure in State where employed. CAOHC certification preferred (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation).
