All while understanding that together we are even better.</p> <p>Schedule: Full Time</p> <p>Shift : Monday - Friday</p> <p>Location: Remote</p> <p>The role you'll contribute:</p> <p>The Director, GPO Affiliate Program is responsible for the leadership and management of the day-to-day business operations for the Affiliate Program within the Supply Chain Management department of AdventHealth. The Director, GPO Affiliate Program is responsible for establishing, planning, developing, and setting the strategic direction for the Affiliate Program and liaises with key stakeholders (Distributor, GPO, affiliate, etc.) to ensure AHS is properly positioned to execute on that strategic direction. The Director, GPO Affiliate Program also markets/sells the program to customers and suppliers, participates in Premier sponsored improvement projects and is responsible for the analysis and identification of savings opportunities or contract penetration prospects for customers. The Director, GPO Affiliate Program routinely makes sales calls or visits key customers to ensure needs are met.</p> <p>The value you'll bring to the team:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Establishes vision and policy for the operations of the GPO Affiliate program.</p> </li><li> <p>Recruit, develop, and retain talent. Performs management functions of goal setting, performance reviews, employee relations, training, and career development</p> </li><li> <p>Manages the daily operations of the program and its employees ensuring the team meets set goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Establishes and preserves supplier and colleague relationships to enable program growth, sustainability, sharing of successes and struggles, and continuous improvement to meet the needs of a changing healthcare environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Builds and maintains relationships with customers by communicating opportunities, conducting business reviews, and managing issues through resolution.</p> </li><li> <p>Retrieves and analyzes data to identify contract savings or penetration opportunities for customers and executes a plan to achieving goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts market basket analysis for potential customers delivering a persuasive summary showing the benefits of being a Premier member through sponsorship with AHS.</p> </li><li> <p>Markets/sells our program and its benefits to prospective customers and/or the supplier community.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains information by customer based on sales calls, business reviews, program sales penetration, and other pertinent information needed to manage the affiliate program.</p> </li><li> <p>Manages supplier relationships as it pertains to supporting customers, growing business, resolving issues, and keeping others aware of the program and its benefits to the membership.</p> </li><li> <p>Administers activities related to the accuracy and performance of the GPO program; validating sales information, initiating revenue recovery actions, and giving directions for resolving issues to be completed in conjunction with the Premier staff.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed :</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's in business or marketing</p> </li><li> <p>5 years of related experience</p> </li><li> <p>10 years of experience in a leadership position managing staff</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to create a vision, share direction with others, and successfully execute a plan</p> </li><li> <p>Successful management of staff and programs verifying the ability to lead a team to its goals</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel</p> </li><li> <p>Proven track record of building and maintaining successful business relationships through excellence in customer service and meeting customer needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of healthcare materials management as it pertains to products, processes, GPO and supplier relationships, contracts, sales, and marketing.</p> </li><li> <p>Displays competence in collecting data, analyzing it, and presenting as actionable information.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in marketing an idea or product as demonstrated by acceptance and maintenance in future.</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of the structure, culture, and needs of the non-acute healthcare market</p> </li><li> <p>Thorough knowledge of how GPO contracts are created, accessed, maintained at distributors, and traced by manufacturers to the GPO and healthcare system.</p> </li></ul> <p><em>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:</em></p> <p><em>·</em> <em>Master's Degree</em></p> <p>This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
