<p>Job Description</p> <p>Role Overview:</p> <p>At Citadel Securities, our traders make complex risk decisions and execute tradesat scale, in real-time. You will work with markets and trading experts who use predictive analytics and advanced technology tomonitor risk, respond to market signals, execute trading strategies, and provide liquidity to the world's most important financial institutions such as acentral banks, pension funds and asset managers.</p> <p>As an intern, you'll get to explore markets and trading through an 11-week program that will allow you to collaborate and connect with senior team members while rotating across the Credit and Rates desk. In addition, you'll get the opportunity to network and socialize with peers throughout the internship.</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>New York City</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop in-depth knowledge of financial markets </li><li>Constantly learn and adapt trading approaches </li><li>Work with current trading team to build new tools, improvements to pricing framework, and run data analysis </li><li>Learn how our traders price and hedge client flow/help develop firm's relationship with client base </li><li>Observe how traders develop trading strategies around technical and market events </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in finance, business administration, economics, computer science, statistics, mathematics or related disciplines preferred </li><li>Passion and demonstrated interest in the markets </li><li>Exceptional problem-solving skills </li><li>Attention to detail and good organizational skills </li><li>Self-starter and hard-working, not afraid to question status quo, and has an entrepreneurial mindset </li><li>Proactive, motivated, and self-drive personality with a strong desire to learn, adapt, and take initiative </li><li>Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills </li><li>Ability to efficiently multi-task and has the capacity to handle high-pressure and fast-paced environments </li><li>Some understanding of markets, trading life cycle, and financial products </li></ul> <p>About Citadel Securities:</p> <p>Citadel Securities is the next-generation capital markets firm and a leading global market maker.
