<ul> <li>Utilize our Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system to plan and establish production schedules for a diverse manufacturing environment including machine, fabrication, processing, assembly, and inspection departments. </li><li>Develops and maintains production planning in order to route items through various Work Centers and production processes. </li><li>Maintain Item MRP parameters in order to identify and regulate optimal ordering policies. </li><li>Improve and maintain Shop Floor Work Center parameters in order to reflect the actual state of resource availability within our MRP system planning parameters. </li><li>Assures timely Work Order releases to the production floor on a daily basis. </li><li>Monitors inventory levels to ensure that the appropriate material or components are available at the time they are needed for production. </li><li>Coordinates with Production Supervisors to replan or reschedule work if unforeseen circumstances arise during the production process. </li><li>Prepares and analyzes various production reports related to order status, unplanned exceptions, and recovery. </li><li>Coordinates with other Essex sites to plan and execute inter-facility production orders. </li><li>Evaluates Bill of Material structures to ensure that resultant planning will support optimal production flow. </li><li>Interacts regularly with Sales and Customer Care teams to determine and implement any necessary expediting activity. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. 3 or more years of experience in a Production Control related position. Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent is preferred.
